SMTP send limits for some users
I have a site running Exchange 2000. They want most users to have limits
set on the max size email that can be sent out via SMTP, while select users
are to have no such limitations.
I have set up two SMTP connectors. One, General has a limit of 300K. (This
is set under "content restriction" "Allowed sizes".) The other, Unlimited
has no limit set. On the Unlimited connector, I have added select users to
the "Accept messages from" list, and selected "By default messages from
everyone are: rejected".
I thought that this would have meant that only the users I selected can send
SMTP mail via the unlimited connector, but this seems not to be the case.
All email, regardless of size is being sent, and it shows in the queue going
via the Unlimited connector. If I delete the Unlimited connector, email
size is restricted as intended.
1. What am I doing wrong?
2. How do I limit the unlimited connector to just a few users?
3. Is there another way I should be doing this?

Re: SMTP send limits for some users
OK, I found Q277872, it all works as expected now.
