smtp;550 5.7.1 Error message
We have a user that is getting this error message (see below) when he tries
to send to a particular e-mail address. The odd part is that I don't have a
problem sending to that address. We haven't changed anything on our end and
on previous occations we've found out that nothing has changed on the other
end. We now have a whole group of e-mail addresses that SOME people can't
send to but others can. Can anyone help me with this?

You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For
assistance, contact your system administrator.

\viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs20 Hello James,
\par
\par Server spvg-exg1.spvg.com is denying this request, basically due to authentication of some sort. So either the credentials being provided for aren't being perceived as valid; the credentials don't exist, or the relaying settings are askew, assuming this is your server. If that is not your server, based upon the recipient address, I would say that you are relaying through someone else, and need to figure out why and if you want to be. You will need to trace the emails in question, which means you will need to be able to first repro the issue on demand.
\par
\par Per RFC 2476:
\par
\par 5.7.1 Not allowed. The address in MAIL FROM appears to have
\par insufficient submission rights, or is invalid, or is not
\par authorized with the authentication used; the address in a
\par RCPT TO command is inconsistent with the permissions given to
\par the user; the message data is rejected based on the
\par submitting user.
\par
\par Hope that helps,
\par
\par Thank you for your post.
