Forwarding to external Address
Hi,
We have the need to forward a users email account to an outside email account
like hotmail. I setup Exchange to forward a copy whit AD. I have a user on
our network who had setup auto forwarding of their email to
an external address. The error is : Delivery to the following recipients
failed.
xxxxx@hotmail.com

Reporting-MTA: dns;xxxx.mailinterno.com
Received-From-MTA: dns;vsmtp12.tin.it
Arrival-Date: Thu, 7 Apr 2005 16:08:50 +0200
Final-Recipient: rfc822;xxxx@hotmail.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.7.1
X-Display-Name: xxxxxxxx

Any ideas please ?
Thanks Antony

Don't use autoforward in Outlook - set up a mail-enabled contact for the
external address, and in Exchange, specify that contact in the 'forward'
settings on the mailbox in question.

That said - can you send directly to the e-mail address in question?
