Hi, I don't know if this is the right group for this question, but I try. We have problem with mail received from an external domain. When we receive mail on our smtp relay server, there is something odd by the mime headers. The messages has content-type: multipart/alternative boundary= xxxxx, further down in the header there's Content-Type: text/plain ; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Type: text/html ; charset="iso-8859-1" It seems to be a space after text/plain and text/html, when we se the message header in outlook, this is what we see. Content-Type: text/plain_ ; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Type: text/html_ ; charset="iso-8859-1" Users get e-mail messages in html format as an empty message with one or two attachments called att.......txt Mail from the domain in plain text format is ok. Has anyone had this issue before? It's not much information regarding this error on the net.... I think the messages do not conform to rfc2045 and 2046, but that's my opinion. The domain uses exchange 2k3 and symantec mail security.
