I setup the disclaimer using VBScript method and registered the event sink with the Exchange 2000 SDK. I've registred the script on my front end exchange 2000 enterprise server and tried the back end server as well but the outbound smtp mails are sending without a disclaimer. I am running Exchange 2000 SP3, W2K SP4. Any ideas? Thanks for your time. Frank
This may be because of a known limitation with disclaimer sinks and MAPI submitted messages. The following article explains the problem and suggests installing the sink on an intermediate relay server. Remove your sink from your internal servers to avoid the possibility of having your disclaimer stamped twice. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/273233/en-us -- Please do not send email directly to this alias.
