I am currently at level 6.0.6249 on my Exchange server and am suffering from the store hanging about every 2 hours, and the only fix has been to reboot. It locks up everything pretty tight. So I figured I would get it to the latest roll-up (6.0.6603) and that would help. Unfortunately when I try to run it (or 6.0.6487 or 6.0.6556 for that matter) I get an error saying that I cannot install this SP, I can only install if I am at the 4417 level. What fixes this?
I am here looking for the answer to the "same exact issue"... I am setting up Exchange on different hardware, applied SP3 but can't apply anything else post SP3. Are you using Windows 2000 or 2003 server?
