Hello, thanks for the info, the article talks about dcpromo. The curent exchange server is installed on a member server and the new server is going to be a member server ae well. Do I need to make it a Dc controller in order to bring up the new server as tne new exchange server? Thanks for all the help. Hi, You don't need to make the new server a domain controller. The article covers moving exchange servers running on both member servers and domain controllers. You should pick the appropiate for you. Leif "Pat" wrote in message news:CAA4FB1F-770E-4A65-AE24-593EC272AA29@microsoft.com... > Hello, > > thanks for the info, > > the article talks about dcpromo.
