I'm setting up a new server and wanted to see if anyone had problems doing a fresh load on a Windows 2003 SP1 server with Exchange 2003.
Hi, No problem at all. Windows server 2003 will watn you that Exchange is not compatible, ignore this and add SP2 after exchange installation. You should also apply this hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898060/en-us Leif "Gates" wrote in message news:uttMa%23THGHA.1388@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... > I'm setting up a new server and wanted to see if anyone had problems doing > a fresh load on a Windows 2003 SP1 server with Exchange 2003. >

One more question. We are going to be running Exchange Enterprise. What should I run for an OS Standard or Enterprise. The documentation looks like it doesn't use anything over 4GB of RAM so I don't see why I would need Enterprise unless I'll be clustering. Hi, You are correct, Exchange won't utilize more than 4 GB of RAM so no need for Windows enterprise unless you are going clustering.
