Re: Configure 2nd exchange server for replication
Users can only have one mailbox per store so as for redundancy there really
is none since the users would have two separate mailboxes with no way of
replicating messages between them. This is why you will need third party
software for realtime replication of Exchange Data or simply have good
backups available for restoration of data. For much larger companies that
need Exchange Server Availability at all times there is Clustering but this
gets really expensive thats why I suggest NeverFail for Exchange.
As for Public Folders, you could setup replication Partners and replicate
the PF data.

Re: Configure 2nd exchange server for replication
If i understand you. We can setup to servers as replication partners and the
public folders will be duplicated on each server. But the user mail boxes
will only be on the server it was created on? So the user mailboxes will not
be replicate? Is there a whit paper on settins up replication parters
between exchange 2000 and 2003.

Re: Configure 2nd exchange server for replication
That is correct for the Mailboxes. As for the Public Folders, here is good
link on Administering PF's which shows how to setup PF Replicas,
