Exchange 2000 to 2000 enterprise
Are there issues with doing an in place upgrade of Exchange 2000 to 2000
Enterprise. Our data store has reached its max size so I need to do this
upgrade. According to the Microsoft article 170280 all you do is run
the setup program from the 2000 Ent. CD and click on reinstall. Is it
really that simple?

Yes we do! I am currently doing an offline defrag to hopefully free up
enough space to restart Exchange. If there still is not enough free
space, is their a way I could manually delete messages from the data
store to free up disk space or is upgrading to the Enterprise Edition my
only option?

Re: Exchange 2000 to 2000 enterprise
Yes ... just make sure you have a good backup also prior to upgrading.
