OWA Access from outside
I'm not sure where to post this so I posted in General also.

Hi all,

I setup my exchange 2003, added the dns entry with private IP piont to
owa.mydomain.com, at the http proxy added the public IP to point to the
private IP and my ISP added to the MX record to point owa.mydomain.com to
point to my public IP.

My problem is, internally any one type owa.mydomain.com will take to the
default html page in the ...\\wwwroot folder and when click on the url link
it's pops up for the security alrert (created using the SelfSSL tool) takes
to the https:\\mydomain.com\exchange where it ask for OWA logon menu and work
well internally. But when some one come from out side through the proxy it's
passing the proxy and bringing up the default page, when click on the url to
the https:\\mydomain.com\exchange it's says page can't be displayed. Please
advice me how to resolve this issue. Basically from out side can get up to
the default page but not to the logon page. But internally works fine.

Thanks
-
Eric

Re: OWA Access from outside
Do you have Port 443 open on your Proxy Server for SSL?
