Missing Administrative Group
Hi,

We have just upgraded our Exchange environment to Exchange 2003. We are
running in a mixed mode environment with Exchange 5.5. Our 5.5 servers are
still in production as we haven't migrated any mailboxes yet.

My problem is this:

A few weeks before our upgrade one of our servers runing 5.5 died. To get
the server back online we had to remove the Site and recreate it. This server
now seems to be working fine and recipients are sending mail to and from the
server with no problems.

However, if we look at the Administrative group layout in Exchange 2003
System manager the site does not appear. And the test mailbox we have
migrated cannot send to this any users who have mailboxes located on this
server.

The ADC Policies look fine.

Thansk for your help,

Jamie

RE: Missing Administrative Group
Forgot to add that this is more than likely a config issue on the 5.5 server.

RE: Missing Administrative Group
One mor ething I have just noticed, the old server (the one that died) is
still listed on our other exchange servers. The only servers that have the
correct server listing is the one that the new server replicates with (the
remote bridgehead).

All servers in the other sites replicate with this one bridgehead server so
I would have though that if this server has the correct listing then all
other servers should too.

Apologies if this is too confusing.
