grand-child domain front end server setup
I am presently setting up a front-end server for one of our remote offices
and every time some from that remote office trys to login he/she get an
error page not found. But if someone from our child domain logins they can
read/delete any messages they like.

Setup Server 1 Front-End Server
company.sub.ics

Setup Remote FrontEnd Server
XX.company.sub.ics

Remote front-end server
XX.company.sub.ics

All servers are running with windows 2003 and exchange 2003 with sp1
installed. The front end server is running with forms enabled and ssl. PS i
did try to edit the logon.asp form to point to the grand-child domain but it
still did not work.

Re: grand-child domain front end server setup
Hi,

This might help:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;293386

I assume that there is full connectivity from the front-end server to the
back-end server??

Re: grand-child domain front end server setup
We currently have 1 Recipient policy for the entire orginization that looks
something like
%.g.%s@domain.com
@domain.com

We can also use userid@corel.com to login to the front end server but again
will only allow the users of the child domain to access there email where as
the grand child domain will simply giv eus an error.
