1) I am presently running Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2000 Server computer. If I upgrade the server OS to WIndows Server 2003, will that force an upgrade to Exchange 2003? 2) Because I am running out of space on the Exchange partition, could I upgrade to Windows Server 2003, add a new HDD, and then span the Exchange files over to the new HDD? Would I want to do that? Why or why not? Thanks in advance for your help!!

You must upgrade exchange first. Would I want to do that? Why or why not? You can't span the exchange files over multiple drives as such. You can however move the edb file (I assume that this is the largest file in the exchange database?) to a new set of disks - see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;257184 Leif > > Thanks in advance for your help!!
