I have been reading all sorts of technical articles from MS and was wondering what others are doing with the following: I have a single Windows 2000 Standard server with Exchange 2000 Standard and just ordered 2GB extra RAM in addition to the 1GB we already have. On the W2003/E2003 system I already have /3GB and the /USERVA=3030 as is almost clear from the docs, but I don't see a clear direction for users running W2k/E2k std with 3GB of RAM. Any comments appreciated. -- -- spam999free@rrohio.com remove 999 in order to email me
Hi, With standard windows 2000 the 3GB switch is not supported. Sometimes having more than 1 Gb of RAM in a standard server gives more problems than advantages.
