Does SBS 2003 Svr support joining the existing Domain ?
Hi,

Can anyone confirm if the SBS 2003 Svr support joining the existing Domain.

I got the err msg " unable to contact all Domain Controller " when I run
Domainprep.

Appreciate if you could advise me.

Best Regards

SBS, as far as I'm aware can't join an existing forest. I'm sure that
you can have additional DCs in an SBS domain/forest and you can
certainly have member server.

Doesn't SBS do all the /forestprep, /domainprep and setup for you
automatically?

SBS has to be the first computer in a forest and hold all the FSMO roles.
You can have additional DC's though.
