OK I am trying to setup a Blackberry server and I need the System Manager on this member server. I am running Windows 2000 Server SP4. I have added IIS, SMTP, Adminpak.msi in hopes of getting this to work and so far I get nothing. I get the following error when I get to the point to choose Custom to just do the System Manager "Microsoft Exchange 2000 has an unknown installation problem." On choosing Typical or Min I get the following "Setup encountered an error while checking prerequisites for the component "Microsoft Exchange 2000": 0X80072030 (8240): There is no such object on the server." It has been a few years since I have even installed Exchange 2000 so maybe I'm missing something simple. If anyone can help out please let me know! Thanks!

Excellent! The second link did the trick. For anyone that needs to know how to do this here you go. Make sure your Exchange Domain Servers..etc.. groups are in the Users Folder in AD. ( I had moved mine to a different OU) Also make sure you have IIS, NNTP, services installed on the server. This may not hold true for XP but for Windows 2000 Server thats what you need. I'm not sure but I believe you also need the Adminpak.msi set off the W2K Server CD. Thanks again!
