Telnet SMTP
I have Exchange 2003 that appears to be running well when mailing between
clients. I'm just trying to telnet to port 25 from my machine (including
directly from the mail server) and am forced back to the command prompt. I'm
not getting any errors about being denied, etc. The reason for the telnet
test is that I cannot use another application (for unknown reasons) to
forward an email to me about status of that application. In that application
I have to specify an SMTP server address, email address and so on. All of
this resides within the same Windows domain and network - no firewalls or AV
blocking.

Any ideas?
