need owner permissions for entire public folders hierarchy
I'd like to grant the domain admins security group "the owner permission"
for all folders, child objects, etc (everything) in entire public folders
hierarchy. is this possible? i open exchange system manager, i navigate to
company_name (exchange), administrative groups, first administrative group,
folders, and then right click on public folders and choose properties. the
problem is i don't get the permissions tab (to cfg client permissions,
directory rights, administrative rights). must i enter every parent object
add the individual users with owner permissions and then replicate to
sub-folders? this seems like long, long weay to accomplish the task. surely
microsoft engineers are not imprudent to design this in this manner.

thanks,
enrique

Re: need owner permissions for entire public folders hierarchy
i appreciate the help. things looked just a tad bit different in exchsrvr2k3
but the steps were definitely extremely helpful. i located a third party app
that looks pretty good too.

Exchange Permission Manager
