Exchange 2003 OWA Problem
My OWA access on our Exchange 2003 server has become very unstable. I am
getting many event viewer error that say the following...

Event Type:	Warning
Event Source:	W3SVC
Event Category:	None
Event ID:	1009
Date: 4/28/2005
Time: 10:22:58 PM
User: N/A
Computer:	EXCHANGE
Description:
A process serving application pool 'ExchangeApplicationPool' terminated
unexpectedly. The process id was '7916'. The process exit code was
'0xc0000005'.

At times when we get 5 within 5 minutes the ExchangeApplicationPool
shutsdown and then our user's can't log on via OWA until we restart it. I
haven't seen too much information on this error. Does anyone know any
solutions to fix this. It come up about 8 to 10 times during the day and it
when they are bunched together we have the shutdown.

Re: Exchange 2003 OWA Problem
Leif,

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately my Exchange box is not a domain
controller. I am running Symantec Mail Security, it is version 4.6 which
should not be affected by the 4.0 bug that may be related to the problem.

Thanks,
Rich

Re: Exchange 2003 OWA Problem
Rich,

Did you ever figure this problem out? I am having the same problem with my
E2K3 box, and everything goes for a dump.
