Size of badmail folder
Is there a way to control de size of the Badmail folder and maybe control
the messages that they don't save there at all? For some reason my server is
taking up a lot of space in that folder and I really don't want it to do
that.
Is it possible to disable it?
I found out that going into the SMTP properties I can select which is the
badmail folder, but can I just remove it so that there's no badmail folder
at all?

Thanks,
Teo

Re: Size of badmail folder
Hi,

We run a job that calls a .cmd file with the following syntax:

c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe

badmailadmin -a delete -f oldest -s ES1 -l off -m 100

Uses the badmailadmin tool.

RE: Size of badmail folder
Hi Teo,

We can not disable Badmail logging in Exchange 2000. So please manually
empty the folder or use a script to empty it regularly.

Some peers have already recommended you this utility. Hope it helps.

Actually, Badmail has been disabled in Exchange 2003 SP1. So you may also
consider upgrading to Exchange 2003 ;-)
