Hi, I'm sure this is a crass newbie fault but I'm stuck. I'm phasing out our old 5.5 box. I have set up anew EX2003 machine and joined the same site. Seems fine, I can move mailboxes from one to the other. However accounts on the new (ex2003) site cannot send SMTP messages. They can send messages to other local Exchange mailboxes held on the 5.5 machine but they cannot send person@mail.com - no error messages, just nothing happens. When I open ESM on the 2003 box I can see these messages sitting in the outbound queue pointed at the old 5.5 server (we only had the one server doing everything - no front/back end) but can;t see how to shift them. I have edited default smtp policy on the 2003 box to send all unknown addresses on to the 5.5 box but that made no difference. Helllllp. Thansk in advance, Pete
