exchange 2003 offline backup
Hi, we currently do online backups daily. My supervisor would like to do
offline backups once a week.

In what order do the exchange services have to be stopped and started.

thx jason

Re: exchange 2003 offline backup
Try to put him off. I can't see how performing a semi-regular offline
backup justifies having to take the stores down.

Re: exchange 2003 offline backup
The reason would be if there was any kind of file corruption within the
Exchsrv folder.

Re: exchange 2003 offline backup
generally, your online backups would start having a problem if there
were...in fact, that type of thing would be much more readily detected by
online backup that by offline...offline is basically just a copy to tape...
