I just removed the last 5.5 exchange server from my environment and now all I have is exchange 2000. I have no yet made it native 2000. I follwed kb 284148 and subsequent kb articles. The issue I have now, is that on my exchange 2000 servers, I get rpc error messages becasue they are trying to connect to the old 5.5 server. Any ideas what I can do?
Hi, Do you still see the 5.5 servers from the Exchange system manager? If yes start the 5.5 admin program, connect to the SRS server (first 2000 server installed) and delete the 5.5 server. If no try to reboot the 2000 server (could be that the 5.5 server stills appears in the cache).
