Some users cannot send large emails
Running W2k Advanced server with Exchange 2000.

Checked thoroughly and there are no size settings specified in either the
Global Settings, SMTP virtual server or the individual users Exchange
settings (there are no connectors set up)

This only happens to a few users but when they try to send an email bigger
than 2mb it throws up an error "the message being sent exceeds the message
size established for this user".

Any ideas?

Thanks

Who are they trying to send the mail to? As in, is this an external
recipient? It could be the recipient's mail server.

Re: Some users cannot send large emails
Hi,

This isn't a problem with external servers as it's happening when sending to
another user on the (small) LAN. They've asked me to send the file instead
and I've had no problems.

Really puzzling and it must be something really obvious but can't find.

Re: Some users cannot send large emails
Very bizarre this is but it's now working!!!

Haven't touched anything for a few days so it's all very confusing.

David
