Hello All, I'm installing a new exchange server in a new domain (new forest, etc) in a win 2k SP4 server (DC and DNS server). Using the administrator account. In the stage when the Ex 2000 installation is configuring the registry to install Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Collaboration the setup fails and gives me the following error: "Setup failed installing sub-component information store service with error code x007007e (please consult installation logs for a detail description). You may cancel the installation or try the failed step again." If I retry the step it fails again and again. I had tried reinstalling the OS and Ex with the same results so obviously I'm doing something wrong (which I have no idea). I've done research and found http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=292439 which does not apply because such file is in place and anyways I've tried copying it again.
