OWA Logon Change
Hello,

I'm using Exchange 2000 on a W2K Adv Srvr box with automatic updates set.
Recently when accessing OWA on a pre Windows XP client, the logon prompt is
now showing 3 fields of input, user name, password & domain. Originally it
was only 2 fields, username and password so each user would input the domain
name and username together on the username field. I haven't made any changes
so I'm concluding a update was downloaded and installed which caused the
change.
Is this correct?

Thank you.

Re: OWA Logon Change
The Exchange 2000 update that was installed via AU was KB892986
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;892986

I am assuming that the server in question is an SBS Server because I am
investigating something similar now.

If it is, can you list the SBS KBs and Service Packs installed on the
machine. If not, can I get a list of the Exchange updates listed on the
machine or if someone modified the logon.asp themselves?

Re: OWA Logon Change
Hi Scott

I saw your entry in the Newsgroup English Exchange 2000 Misc. It is the only
entry about
the update KB892986. I have to apply that update on a custumers exchange
2000 with sp3.
I receive errors that some prerequesites have not met. Can you tell me what
additional
updates have to be applied ?

Log extract from update file:
