Old users still getting mail
I have an exchange 2000 box that has been working for a long time. I removed
some old users about six months ago, but periodically I still get notified in
the admin mailbox that there was in "inbound mail failure" listing their
addresses. I thought that if they are no longer in the active directory or
exchange, they would automatically bounce back. I don't know if there is
something wrong somewhere, and if so don't know where to look.

Thanks

Re: Old users still getting mail
Create an Empty Distribution Lists called Deleted Users. Make sure there
are no Members to this DL. Then on the E-Mail Addresses add the SMTP
addresses for the ex employees.
