mail connector session over vsat takes too long
Hi all,

I have 2 exchange 2000 servers connected over vsat links but the time it
takes to deliver a message is too long. (A 2mb file takes up to 15minutes) i
have 256kbps on both sites and no packet loss.

however if i telnet to port 25, the remote server responds promptly with no
lag, messages queue for hours and the mail connector on shows it is ok
throughout. I have another connector through a terrestrial link that is
pretty fast.

Anyone with some config or tips to speed things up ?
highly appreciative,
Regards.
