I have a client running a number of Exchange 2003 servers. Each server periodically logs the MAD.EXE events 9095 and 9096 followed by event ID 9098 with the code 0x80070005 - Access denied. Any one experienced this situation and have a resolution? thanks Trevor
There's a 3rd party product called Tivoli Endpoint from IBM that has caused the 9098 events. Obtaining a patch from IBM resolved the issue or disabling it. Hi Fritz, I have just been advised that the client DOES have Tivoli installed. As you advised, the client will contact IBM for the patch you suggested Thanks very much for your assistance - much appreciated.
