rules in exchange/outlook
I would like to set up a Rule to do the following:

If I receive a message from a certain sender AND I am not online
Forward the message to another email account.

We are running exchange 2000 and outlook 2003.

Any ideas?

Re: rules in exchange/outlook
Hi David,

Thanks for your reply.
By 'online', I mean: with Outlook open on my PC, and connected to the
exchange server (i.e. I have an internet connection).

Re: rules in exchange/outlook
There's no logic in Exchange or Outlook to detect your presence/state ...
you'd have to custom-code a rule that takes into account MSN or Windows
Messenger presence information. Not exactly sure how you'd go about this
..... try posting into m.p.e.development for ideas.
