I have a server in my Exchange organization that does not physically exist anymore, but we never had Exchange properly uninstalled before it was trashed. Does anyone know how to remove an offline Exchange server from your organization? Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.
You must execute ADSIEdit.msc. (I think you must install the support tools to have it) Go to: Configuration -> CN=configuration,DC=... -> CN=services -> CN=Microsoft Exchange -> CN=YourOrganization ->... Look everywhere you found your sever name and delete it... You can delete it on AD Users&Computers too and... if you would completly remove it on your domain.
