Migrating Public Folder from E5.5 to E2003
My situation is hopefully common to many people who are migrating from
Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
We have approximately 22,000 public folders that need migrating and the
method we would like to adopt is a three step - replicate from 5.5 to 2003,
rehome to 2003 and then remove the replica from 5.5.
We have to do it in chunks because the PF database is 80Gb.
The first step is easy as we use PFadmin.exe using an input file (tab
delimited) on the E5.5 server to create the replica on the E2003.
The next step is one we are finding hard to perform. We tried the same
pfadmin.exe command on the E5.5 server but it did not work.
I can't see hoe I can use PFMigrate as it does not allow for a select group
of folders to be worked on.
Does anyone have any ideas....maybe there is the ability to run PFADMIN on a
2003 server?
