Exchange 2000 and 2003 Interoperability
Hello

I work for a company that is a US subsidiary of an Italian company. Our
domain is a child Domain of the Italian companies Forest. The entire company
is running Exchange 2000. Our company wants to run Exchange 2003 for its
ability to have Activesync and HTTPS.

The parent company does not want to migrate until late next year. Does
anyone know the ramifications to there Exchange 2000 environment if we ask
them to run foresstprep and domainprep on the root forest and domain? If so,
is this documented by Microsoft.

The parent comany will only let us upgrade if there is something document
from Micorsoft that this will have no ill effect on their existing
environment. We plan to run in Mixed mode after the upgrade.

Thank you

Paul
