Restore Information Store
We have 2 exchange servers at on site and 1 at another site connected using
routing groups.

We need to restore 1 mailbox from a backup that is 3 month old.

Will there be any problems in restoring this information store to a seperate
server that is not connected to the network ? It is an Excahnge 2000 server
that is also a doman controller. Will we need to make the temporary server a
domain controller also ?

Re: Restore Information Store
Hi,

This article explains how to restore a single mailbox to a recovery server.
It does not matter how old the backup is.
