Replacing NIC Card
Hi there,
We're running Exchange 2000 Server. I'm planning on replacing the current
NIC card with a faster model.
I just want to double check my steps to make sure the upgrade will go
smoothly

1) Make a full backup of the DBs/System State
2) Stop all Exchange-related service & set them to manual
3) Remove the current NIC in device manager
4) Shutdown the server & remove the NIC
5) Replace with the new NIC
6) Power on the server & configure the new NIC
7) Start Exchange services (put back to 'Automatic')

Did I forget anything? Does my procedure look ok?
TIA
Regards,
Veets
