The IS won't start and M: is not mapped, while the last serious problem was Virus infection. Unfortunately I don't have more clues for now but please drop some ideas of similar experiences of what the solution might be. The usual causes like low disk space and the like were already checked. I don't know the virus name yet but give me some ideas of what could a virus do to harm the IS? Thanks
Hi, Could be caused by missing transaction log files - if the antivirus program removed/deleted these. This should help determine the cause. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=C86FA454-416C-4751-BD0E-5D945B8C107B&displaylang=en Leif "Andreas Yiangoullis" wrote in message news:OmKAHwETGHA.2156@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > The IS won't start and M: is not mapped, while the last serious problem > was Virus infection.
