-Urgent- Error Message
I had setup an Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition on top of the Windows
2000 Server. Every morning I have to restart the service of "Microsoft
Exchange Information Store", then only all the Outlook's users able to logon
to the Exchange Server to retrieve their emails from their mailboxes.
The following error messages will keep appeared (every minute) in Event
Viewer > Application Log :-

Event Type:	Error
Event Source:	MSExchangeSA
Event Category:	MAPI Session
Event ID:	9175
Date: 2/15/2006
Time: 8:35:06 AM
User: N/A
Computer:	HS07
Description:
The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error:
The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has failed.
The MAPI provider failed.
Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
ID no: 8004011d-0512-00000000

Please feedback to me as soon as possible.

Thank you and have a great day.

Re: -Urgent- Error Message
Hi Hendry,

The 9175 errors message is a complete red herring you can ignore that
message. It is generated by the SA when it cannot get into a mailbox store.

What you need to do is look thru the application log for where the 9175
errors first begin for that day. Around there you should see some warnings
or Errors coming from ESE of MSExchangeIS that indicate what is happening.

Just taking a guess I bet you are running out of database size on your
database. Remember with E2k3 Standard you are limited in database size. We
now do the check for the database size every night and will dismount the
database if we detect that it is over the size limit.

Starting with SP2 we allow you to increase this limit up to 75Gb. Please
see the following article for more information about this issue.

912375 How to increase the Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 18-gigabyte
database size limit

Hope This Helps,
