Exchange 2000 email process time
Hi,

I have an Exchange server 2000 and for non reason, it statr to process
email very slowly.
I check process in task manager under and the server CPU is not running
over 5%.

I have GFI MailEssential as spamware and I turn it off just to be sure
that this wasn't the problem. He's not the problem...

I don't know why the server slow down like this.
Any clues ?

Re: Exchange 2000 email process time
How do you know it is slowing down? It could be disk thrashing. Look at
perfmon for disk io and response time.

Re: Exchange 2000 email process time
It takes more than 54 minutes for simple mail to be process by the
server.
I turn on the SMTP Queues growth period monitoring on my server and the
current queue growth is showing 54 minutes.

I have a lot of free memory... So memory is not an issue.
I will check with the performance monitor the disk IO and response
time.
