Hello, Im working with exchange 2007 and having a strange problem. Currently, no mail from the internet. I checken the service and they are running, I checked the eventlog -> this is fine (except and warning message 12014 for hub transport). I have enought space on C: as well. Would be cool if some one could give me a tip where to look. I have really no clou what the problem could be. Internal mail transport is working fine and a can send mails out too. Thanks Thomas

Tracert fails, too (but that's not conclusive -- your company may block ICMP echo). I'd start with your network guys. If your firewally isn't blocking port 25 then there may be some sort of routing problem. Based on your desctiption of the problem, neither can anyone else! Since port 25's working between machines in your LAN, and 25's open on your firewall, the problem must lie somewhere between. Are you using NAT? Is port 25 directed to some other IP address than yor Exchange server? Have you mistakenly ACLed something on the firewall to block connections from all networks (kinda like using 0.0.0.0 where you meant to use 255.255.255.255, or vice-versa)? If you can connect from the firewall to your Exchange server on port 25 then the problem's in the way the firewall's dealing with inbound connections. -- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP MS Exchange FAQ at http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Don't send mail to this address mailto:h.pott@getronics.com Or to these, either: mailto:h.pott@pinkroccade.com mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle@getronics.com mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle@pinkroccade.com

Hi guys, thanks for your advices, but I found the problem. It was my Aladdin eSafe, which is sitting between firewall and my network. The service was totally hanging, I didnt realized this yesterday because I dialed in from outside via VPN. After a restart of the service the mails are running properly through Thanks Thomas "Thomas Risch" schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:ORKOZlIfIHA.4880@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Hello, > > Im working with exchange 2007 and having a strange problem. > Currently, no mail from the internet. > I checken the service and they are running, I checked the eventlog -> this > is fine (except and warning message 12014 for hub transport).
