Good morning all: I've got two servers. #1 is a Win2K DC running AD, DNS, DHCP and RAS. #2 is a Win2K DC running Wins and Exchange 2003. I'm expanding my network and building two new Win2K3 DC's. Server #1 doesn't bother me but server #2 does... Can I safely dcpromo an Exchange server to not be a DC anymore??? It is the only Exchange server in the site??? Thanks -brian brian at visionpro dot com

If you don't want Exchange on a DC, install it on a member server, move mailboxes & replicate PFs, then follow the procedures to cleanly remove the first server & uninstall Exchange.
