exchange mailbox with old user name
Hello,

We use Win 2003 and Exchange 2003 in our network.

I have one user name 'peter' in our AD. After he left, Simon come to
replace him. I rename 'peter' in AD to 'simon'. I try to extract
Simon's email to PST from exchange using exmerge After the extract
finished, it produce a pst file named "peter.pst". I search through
the property pages of Simon's user account in AD and I cannot find any
trace of 'peter' that I can change. It seems like the email box still
owned by 'peter'. Do you know how can I change it ?

Regards,
Eddie

RE: exchange mailbox with old user name
Why would you rename an existing user? You are better off disabling the old
user and creating a new account for the new user. Much less confusing that
way.
