*****HELP WITH DST 2007 IN EXCHANGE 2000, WINDOWS 2000, Windows 2K/XP/Outlook2K/2K2/2k3 environment
Hi,
I read a few post, I think we better spend $4000 for getting the fix for our
Exchange 2000 server.
a. Without paying $4000, can we manually fix the Exchange 2000 server?
b. If we paid $4000 for Exchange 2000 DST fix, then should we just do:
- DST update for all our Windows 2K/2K3 OS server (correct?)
- When we have the DST fix for our Exchange 2000, do we need to do any
tool update for our
outlook2000/2002/2003 client? or OWA client (of course they are
oversea, offshore users)
- DST update for all our workstation Windows XP/Pro client
I know it is little bit late to ask, but we are having little more than 7
days when next sunday incoming!!
So please have your input, and share your experience
Regards,
J.H

JH,
Did you pay for the Exchange 2000 fix? If not, where did you find the
fix, I cannot find it anywhere! Just the mailbox update tool.
Please help!

Hi there,
we have not yet bought the Exchange hotfix. For Win2K server, pro update
it's ok
we can do manually, however for the Exchange hotfix (which fixes CDO of
Exchange) is
undecided. I do not know the impact without Exchange hotfix, do you know?
We have approval from our director "Ask user to recreate their current items
in Calendar"
That was a relief without asking management to pay $4K. However, there is
still unknown
impact without Exchange Hotfix (except knowing one of fixes of Exchange
hotfix is CDO)
Any one knowing anything? please give the input
