Delay with SMTP Queue
We are in the middle of an e-mail migration from an exchange 2000 to
2003.

We have both running, converting people as we go along, and setting it
to forward from the old system to the new system when people e-mail the
old accounts.

You can send an E-mail from the new system to the old system and it
will appear immediately, however if you send an e-mail from the old
system to the new system(including the auto-forwarded e-mails) they sit
inside the SMTP queue for a long time, sometimes a few hours, before
eventually being handed off to the new system and delivered. As an
example, my boss sent me an E-mail from the old system at 11:28 AM, I
recieved it on the new system at 6:30 PM

All the other queues say Ready, and have the Green check. the one for
the SMTP connecter leading to the new server says Active, but as I
said, is very very sluggish in handing off the e-mails in the queue to
the new server.

Any help resolving this issue is very appreciated, as it is driving us
nuts.
