New user email issue
I created a new user in our AD and set her up with an email account in
Exchange 2000.

When I send an email to that address I get the following error back: The
e-mail address could not be found. Perhaps the recipient moved to a
different e-mail organization, or there was a mistake in the address. Check
the address and try again.

I checked the spelling and everything but see nothing wrong. I setup the
Outlook on her machine and sent myself an email and it went thru fine. I can
also see her in the global address book.

Im lost at what it could be. I have set up new users since then and they
work fine.

Any ideas?

Re: New user email issue
you're selecting the user from the GAL? or manually typing in the smtp
address?

RE: New user email issue
It just started working.

Found out that the Global catalog took a long time to update. Now to find
out why that only affect one user. Hmmmm
