I created a new user in our AD and set her up with an email account in Exchange 2000. When I send an email to that address I get the following error back: The e-mail address could not be found. Perhaps the recipient moved to a different e-mail organization, or there was a mistake in the address. Check the address and try again. I checked the spelling and everything but see nothing wrong. I setup the Outlook on her machine and sent myself an email and it went thru fine. I can also see her in the global address book. Im lost at what it could be. I have set up new users since then and they work fine. Any ideas?
you're selecting the user from the GAL? or manually typing in the smtp address? -- Susan Conkey [MVP] "Dan" wrote in message news:00FF5E8C-578C-4675-A82E-4B6EEB789702@microsoft.com... > I created a new user in our AD and set her up with an email account in > Exchange 2000. > > When I send an email to that address I get the following error back: The > e-mail address could not be found. It just started working. Found out that the Global catalog took a long time to update. Now to find out why that only affect one user.
