Exported files with Exmerge seem too small...
I have to redo a SBS2003 with a clean install... The private store was about
20 to 25GB... Exmerge claims that it will need 36GB of free space to export,
but when it was all said and done, all files were only 16GB and some
individual mail boxes are showing us as half the size the Exchange store says
they are... Is this anything to worry about or is it perfectly normal?

Thanks,
Sasha

Re: Exported files with Exmerge seem too small...
Hi,

Not sure if this is normal, depends how much free space you had in the
database before exmerging (look for event 1221 in the application log) and
what you selected to exmerge.

If you look in exchange system manager and find the mailbox sizes I would
expect these to be equal (or close) to what the extracted pst files are.
