postmaster account
Hi all

I tried to set up a postmaster@domain.com SMTP address within Active
Directory Users and Computers, but it reported that it was already in use.
Can someone please let me know how I would find out who uses this address.

I tried sending an email asking for a reply, but nothing came of it.

This is an Exchange 2000 environment

TIA,

James

It's probably assigned to the administrator account. That said, when you
type in the address & check names in a new message, to what does it resolve?
Have you tried searching in ADUC?
