Adding a second Exchange 2000 server
Hi,

My existing Exchange 2000 server box is now getting rather old and I'd like
to introduce a new server into the organisation and move the majority (if
not all) users onto it. Could anyone point me towards a definitive article
that shows the steps that need to be taken to install a second server? I've
searched the web but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

Many thanks

Grant

Are you going to install Exchange 2003 (highly recommended)? If so,
here is a great article...

Good luck!

No, just another Exchange 2000 server for the time being, and then go to
2007 perhaps when it comes out.

Well, it is pretty easy then. Just install another Exchange server and
move the mailboxes after hours. It is that simple, no need for an
entire article on the subject - probably why you didn't find one :)
