I seem to be having the issue lately. I created a new user, and a few more extra's, and they are not appearing in the address list. They only appear if caching is off, and if I turn it back on they disappear again. I have also tried deleting the Outlook profile I'm on in an attempt to refresh. I'm running Exch. 2003 and Outlook 2003. Any Ideas I cant seem to find an answer past "turning off cached" ?
Do they eventually appear?
Nope, Put in user on this past thursday, and still not appearing. "daveberm" wrote: > Do they eventually appear? > >
Rebuild your OAB, then on the Outlook client click Send/Receive - Download Address Book and uncheck "Download changes since last send and receive". Here is a link that describes how to rebuild the OAB http://www.exchangemaster.net/faq/000005.htm David Bermingham MCSE, MCSA:Messaging www.steeleye.com
Ok, I did do that, I just redid it to confirm and still no luck. I've also tried moving the address book to a different server. (Two exchange server enviroment) I have also tried the update feature, and choosing a different GC/AD server and still nothing. Seems like a real hard one for me, otherwise I wouldnt have posted. Thanks for the help so far. It is Greatly appreciated. I'm out of ideas - sorry.
I did figure it out days ago. I ran Forest Prep and domain Prep , Did a Reinstall of Exchange. Deleted and created GAL and OAB, waited over night for maintenance. Problem seems to be resolved but I havent created new users yet, but the one's I wanted to get on the list are on there. "daveberm" wrote: > I'm out of ideas - sorry. > >
