we have our outlook thru exchange 2003 - how do I back it up? thank you!
You would use NTbackup.exe on the Exchange Server to do an online Backup of your Exchange Server. Its preferred to use an external storage device like Tape Drive, USB Drive, etc. to backup your data and store offsite. Here is link explaining how to backup your Exchange Server, please post back if you have any questions, http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Exchange-2003-Backup-Restore-NTBACKUP.html -- John Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2006 Microsoft Certified Partner "carrol" wrote in message news:5E1C40C6-BB60-4498-AAE2-6F2DABFE5B3F@microsoft.com... > we have our outlook thru exchange 2003 - how do I back it up? > > thank you!

Hi - you wouldn't back up Outlook (it's just a client) - you'd back up Exchange, which is where all your data is (or should be) stored. Do you have a network/Exchange administrator? They ought to be doing this nightly, as well as backing up your other data/files on the server(s).
